About Us

The Vine Arts Dance Collective is built on values such as discipline, integrity, excellence, and kindness. We integrate these principles into everything we do. The Collective is led by longtime resident Melissa Nieves, who brings her passion for movement through dance, cheer, fitness, and acrobatics. We offer many classes in the community through the Alexander Hughes Community Center, including camps.

We welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities into a safe, encouraging space where they can develop their technical skills, deepen their confidence, and discover purpose through movement.
